1. I am not ready

The excuse of not being ready is everywhere. It means that you give yourself full permission to delay the process of change. For instance, have you ever gone swimming and found it hard to get in the pool at first? The thought of cold water makes you stand still because you’re just not ready to just dive in yet. And yet time and time again we plunge into the water and it’s refreshing and invigorating once we get in. This analogy is the same in your life with the big decisions. Remember: A life lived in fear is a life half lived.

REMEDY: In the by by Mel Robbins called “The 5 Second Rule” she suggests counting back from 5 and then just diving in. Make sure you identify the areas of your life and truly ask yourself if you’re making excuses and delaying (out of FEAR) – or if you are genuinely just not ready (which is okay too).

2. I am not enough

You are worthy. You are enough. You just have to remember that sometimes you’ll forget how amazing you are and that’s okay. The key point to grasp here is to ditch all comparisons to others. It’s the theif of joy. I’ll say it again, you ARE enough. You always have been and you always will be.

REMEDY: If you feel this way, try using the power of affirmations to imprint your subconscious mind. Affirmations can work wonders.

3. I don’t have enough time

I’m going call out some BS on this one. There is always enough time if you plan and you commit to showing up. Right now as I am writing these words, I have been up writing since 3am. There is a blissful energy in the house when my four kids are sleeping and it’s totally quiet. Alternatively, if your lie is “I don’t have enough time” because it’s based on your age then I would highly encourage you to become open to all possiblities. Age is a state of mind. If you want something and you’re still alive and kicking then you need to just GO FOR IT!

REMEDY: Figure out how much sleep you need and work around the needs of everyone else in your household. Life is for living and we never know how much time we have left, so make the most of it!

4. I don’t have enough money

This is a big one. It also might be the truth. If you don’t have enough money to do something you want, then set the intention to manifest the amount you need.

REMEDY: Examine your beliefs around money and worthiness. Also look for creative ways that you can allow more abundance to flow into your reality.

5. I am too scared

Fear is a feeling to rise above. It’s a tool to sharpen your intuition and make sure that your life is more interesting. Move into the direction of joy and love and watch the fear fade away.

REMEDY: Remember that whatever you want is on the other side of your comfort zone. Sometimes the ride is bumpy, but it’s worth it in the long run.
