Books can be a gateway to the next chapter of your life. On my manifesting journey over the last two decades, I have been a voracious reader of personal development and spirituality books.
This has ultimately helped me to become a better writer too. When you buy a new book from a teacher you have not spent time with before, then it creates an incredibly beautiful synergy and opens up the field of infinite potential.
Here are the 6 Best Law of Attraction Books You Need To Read:
1. The Game Of Life And How To Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn
This 1925 classic by Florence Scovel Shinn is a must-read timeless book. Even though the wording can be a little old-fashioned at times, it is one of the most profound and inspiring books on manifesting and the Law of Attraction from a very practical perspective. I read this book when I was 11 since it was on my mother’s bookshelf. In fact, I believe it inspired me to become a manifestation teacher.
Read this book to be inspired by the success stories of others.
2. Your Forces And How to Use Them by Prentice Mulford
You’ve probably heard of this saying before which is this: “thoughts become things”. This phrase originated from a man named Prentice Mulford – a well-known humorist and author that lived in Sag Harbor, New York, in the 1800s. It is said that Mulford’s musings launched the beginning of the New Thought movement and the beginning of the principles of the Law of Attraction being released out into the world on a mass scale.
When I lived in the Hamptons in 2020 I read all of his books and even visited his grave in the cemetery in Sag Harbor. On my 41st birthday, I visited him and asked if he could send me an inspired idea for our business. Within the week I had launched a 100k high-end coaching program called The Visionary Mastermind.
Read this book if you want to find your doorway to the Divine and get inspired ideas.
3. The Greatest Secret by Rhonda Bryne
The hit movie The Secret (and the book) re-launched the popularity of The Law of Attraction back in 2006. Rhonda Byrne has created quite a spectacular book with The Greatest Secret (2020). I was skeptical at first that it would just be rehashing the old material in The Secret, but it’s delishiously deep and soulfully nourishing.
Read this book if you want to make peace with the beauty of the present moment.
4. Ask And It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks
In 2007, I was visiting my mother’s house and she handed me this book and said that I must read it. If you’re not familiar with Abraham Hick’s channeled material then it’s time to step into quite the wild ride of woo. This book will make you hyper-aware of your feelings and how nothing is more important than feeling good.
Read this book if you want to learn how to ask the Universe for what you want.
5. Dear Universe: 200 Mini-Meditations For Instant Manifestation by Sarah Prout
Yes, this is my book. A sneaky plug here, but Dear Universe is a powerful manifestation resource. There are 200 feelings and emotions listed (100 fear-based and 100 love-based). You tune in, look up the emotion you’re feeling and find your connection point with the magic of the universe in what I call a “Dear Universe” moment of intention. There are over 2,600 reviews (good reviews) on Amazon. Also, this book has been translated into German, Spanish, French, Serbian, Hebrew, and Russian.
Read this book to learn how to guide your energy and your emotions to manifest your dreams.
6. Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain
This is another timeless classic that focuses on the powerful mode of visualization for manifestation. There are some really lovely exercises and points of inspiration in this book that you’ve probably never heard of anywhere else.
Shakti Gawain sadly passed away in 2018 and was a prolific New Age and personal development author.
Read this book if you want to learn how to create what you want in your life.
