If you would love to manifest more awesome stuff into your life like love, happiness, prosperity or abundance, then you NEED to stop saying the 6 following words.

This hefty little list of words is responsible for being used in your day-to-day language patterns and can literally imprint your consciousness with tiny energetic blocks. Although it might not seem like a big deal, the energy and vibration that we sub or unconsciously attach to these words can be the difference between a life flowing with abundance or a blockage in the vibe-pipe of goodness flowing into your reality from the Universe. Ready to manifest? 

So here goes…

1. Hate

To ‘hate’ something or someone can be used so casually in conversation, but it actually is one of the top pieces of language that fuels drama addiction and prompts a person to seek out negative things to simply use as conversational pieces. When you become more conscious of the words you choose to use, then your world begins to transform around you.  For instance: “Don’t you just hate this cold weather?”

This statement might seem meaningless, but it discourages the essence of appreciation and gratitude, which is where the magic of manifesting resides.

Metaphysical remedy: Look for things to appreciate and converse about. It will raise your vibration and make you feel happier.

2. Should

The word “should” is almost always loaded with expectations that are being hurled at another human being unfairly.  For instance: “He should call his kids more often.”

This statement is fueling the fire for resentment to grow within your own heart if your expectations aren’t being met. Let people be responsible for their own actions and don’t “should” on them. You actually create a newfound sense of freedom within your own heart, which feels fabulous.

Metaphysical remedy: Make your expectations clear and invite people to be open to all possibilities rather than telling them what they “should” or should not do.

3. Yes (with moderation, and a filter)

Are you a people pleaser? Someone that says “yes” all the time because you don’t want to upset another person or rock the boat?

Metaphysical remedy: Create an incubation period for yourself of 24-48 hours where you don’t give a yes or no answer to important decisions unless you feel it strongly in your heart. This is the ultimate act of self care.

4. Broke/Poor

How often do you affirm that you’re broke, that you don’t have much money or that you’re poor? The Universe hears this as an affirmation and responds accordingly. In order for you to attract what you want into your life, you need to start BEING what you want. This starts by how we use I AM statements.

5. Never

Just never say never. Yes, create boundaries and state to the Universe what you want to create in your life, but when you say that you’ll “never” do something (especially when it’s a statement made with passion) it tends to manifest to challenge your soul to grow.

I used to say that I would “never” date anyone younger. It was a fiercely held belief in my heart that it’s something that I just wouldn’t do no matter what. The love of my life turned out to be 5 years younger than I am, so I decided to retract my “never” policy which was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Metaphysical remedy: Open your heart to all possibilities.

6. Shame

Have you ever said: “Shame on you!”?

Ouch. This is a nasty one. Shame isn’t a good feeling, and to fling the word “shame” in someone’s direction isn’t very nice. Here’s the thing to remember, the energy that you put out there always comes back to you with uncanny accuracy. You want to get your soul into a space where you can always lead with love and compassion.

Metaphysical remedy: Remember that shame “never” instigates change.

The simple truth is that if you don’t know how to ask the Universe for what you want to create in life, then you will miss out on your own sweet superpowers.

Here are The 5 Powerful Steps of Meaningful Intention Setting when you are ready to launch your oh-so-amazing desires out to the Universe…

1. Gather your intention supplies

1-GATHERTo set clear intentions you will need something to write them down on. The Universe loves specificity and also hand-written requests. There is an incredible amount of power that flows from your pen onto the page. In fact, a comfortable pen is essential.

2. Create a sacred intention setting space

SACRED-SPACEWhether it’s an altar, your kitchen table or a pretty space on your nightstand, create a space of beauty where you can keep candles, journals, crystals, and other symbolic items that conjure up a deep feeling of inspiration.

3. Clear your space before the ritual

CLEAROur day to day lives can sometimes become energetically cluttered by thought-forms and other worldly dramas etc. The best thing to do is clear your space by either burning sage (a smudge stick) which you can buy from Wholefoods or you can sprinkle the edge of your room with rock salt. 4. Meditate for at least 5 minutes

MEDITATEThe practice of meditation is really important throughout the manifesting process. This is because you actively relax and allow for your desires to flow from your higher self. Set the intention before your meditation to be guided to soulfully and succinctly express all of the things you would love to manifest into your life.

5. Flow from your heart without judgement

5-FLOWAllow yourself to dream really BIG! Get carried away in very descriptive detail how you would like the life of your wildest dreams to look. God is in the details remember, so you want to get super-clear about every little thing you want to start showing up in your reality.

If you notice the little voice of doubt or certain judgements begin to rise up as you are setting your intentions, remember that they are a very natural part of the manifesting process. You need to understand that you can’t control how you feel when the doubt rises up, but you can choose to reframe it in order to see it as a vital balancing force for the process to be successful. It’s ALL about perspective. Really dive into the core feelings of WHY you want to transform your life and what it would mean to the people and loved ones around you.

After a new moon you will notice a newfound sense of peace within your heart. Many people start to notice signs of alignment starting to manifesting almost instantly.

1. What would have to happen to activate my heart energy right now?

By allowing yourself to be still and focus in on your heart energy, you allow for a more serenity to flow into your present moment experience.

2. How can I cultivate compassion?

Step into the other person’s shoes and see how you would feel from their perspective. This is the best way to cultivate compassion.

3. How can I manage my energy better in this moment?

Your body will usually give you warning signs when it’s time to manage your energy a little better. You might feel it as a pang in your stomach, weakness in your knees or your heart might start to race. In each moment you have a choice how you react.

4. Can this be resolved right now? Truthfully?

Too often we want instant gratification, closure and resolution. Allow yourself to let go of the need to be a “people pleaser” and make everything right again before the dust has been allowed to settle. Conflict resolution is about being patient. Slow and steady wins the race. 

5. How can I rise above this?

Whatever the situation is, just remember that it’s a choice as to how you view your experience. Instead of seeing the glass as half full, or half empty, see the glass as beautiful.

6. Am I willing to see the Divine plan behind the situation?

Stand back and see that everything happens in divine timing.

7. Am I willing to trust this moment?

When we let go of our need to control situations that unfold in our lives, then we allow the beautiful space for trust to lead the way. Remember, the Universe always has your back.

8. Is this worth my time?

Ask yourself if being reactive and involved in any “drama” is actually a productive use of your precious time. Usually, it’s not.

9. How can I give more in this moment?

Being of service to others is how the beauty of humanity shines through. Ask yourself what you can GIVE, much more that you would ever expect to GET. Giving without expectation is the only way to conduct yourself.

10. Am I able to see the situation from another perspective?

In a similar way to cultivating compassion, you need to be empathetic to what the other person in your situation might be experiencing. When you can see beyond just yourself, you see so much more in order to facilitate harmony.

11. Would this matter if I were on my death bed?

We forget that we are all going to transition one day. By asking yourself if what you are reacting to is something that would outrage you on your death bed, you gain beautiful perspective that life is too short to be concerned by trivial matters.

Remember a few months ago when you set your intentions, resolutions and goals to make this year the best year ever? A couple of weeks ago I went to a really inspiring business conference in San Diego. It was 5 days of total immersion into creativity and marketing – leaving us buzzing with ideas and concepts to implement when we arrived home in Las Vegas. Since then, we have been quite uninspired.

A dear friend gave me a little kick in the bum when I told him I was still in the process of finishing my book about healing your heart from miscarriage. He told me to create a deadline and to get very specific about the end date. “By when” he kept saying, so I was forced into committing to an actually end date to have the manuscript completed by. In that moment, I knew I was off-track and allowing myself to get distracted. It made me ponder the following questions…

How can you feel so insanely uplifted and ready to take action and then allow yourself to get so utterly sidetracked? How do you learn how to rise above the overwhelm, the little voice of doubt and stay focussed?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and this is what I came up with. Here are 7 Hot Tips to Stay Focused When Life Gets In the Way Of Achieving Your Goals, Dream, Wishes and Desires

1. Schedule even the tiniest actions towards your goals

Mark in in your calendar and stick to it. This was you create the accountability you need in order to build some momentum.

2. Reward yourself for your commitment

When you can tune into the sense of self-satisfaction that you’re committed to your goals, then make sure you treat yourself to something nice to reinforce the behavior.

3. Track your progress with daily gratitude

Thank the Universe on a daily basis for clarity, focus and determination. When you feel grateful for those qualities, even if you don’t quite embody them yet – you will start to behave that way sooner or later. Remember that anything you state with an ‘I AM’ is a command to your subconscious mind.

4. Release expectations of yourself and others

Be gentle on yourself. And also don’t count on others to make you happy. Be independent and walk through life being grateful no matter what shows up for you.

5. Stop comparisons

Comparison is the thief of all joy for a reason. If you hold jealousy in your heart then you will suffer. Make sure you feel happy for the success of others and stop comparing where you’re at, to someone else. Everyone is unique and different and have something special to offer the world.

6. Really enjoy the journey

People tend to forget that happiness and achieving your goals is all about the journey. One day you’ll look back on this time and see it as magical.

7. Celebrate the success of others

Similar to the theme of ‘comparison’ you need to surround yourself with people that have achieved their goals or experienced success. Success stories help you to stay on track, such as this one.
