This week I gave up coffee. It’s been four days now and I feel extremely peaceful and can’t believe how strung out the caffeine has kept me for such a long time. Like all good addicts, I tried to replace the habit that wasn’t serving me with a more empowering one…so I fell in love with tea drinking again!
Madame Flavour
A little while ago I discovered a brand called Madame Flavour. Founded in my home town of Melbourne by Corinne Noyes, the start-up is now a million plus dollar company, bringing beautifully packaged boxes of exotic t-bags to the supermarket shelves.
Each box comes with a little note inside that explains the way the company started and its philosophy/passion for the tea creation process. What I love about this brand is how integrated with conscious business practice it is. There’s a unique story, vibrant creative energy and a desire to serve customers with an exquisite experience. Plus, the tea flavours are amazing! The ‘sultry chai’ is the best chai available on the market in my opinion. With a little soy milk and some honey it’s my new coffee alternative and so much more soothing.

Tea drinking is such a wonderful ritual to establish for yourself as a reminder to relax, calm down and be present.
On another note, I also had to buy tampons this week and was walking down the ‘feminine hygene’ isle as I do once a month leading up to Aunt Maude visiting with her jam sandwich or riding the crimson tides. Ew, that is kinda gross but you know me…I had to say it.
TOM Organic
I’m such a sucker for beautiful packaging and a box of tampons jumped out at me. They were ‘new’ in the supermarket and I was drawn in my the watercolour illustration of a woman on the box. It was artsy and interesting which is why it captured my attention.
TOM Organic is my now favourite brand of tampons. I read the entire box when I got them home.

I fell in love.
This is the kind of business that makes me feel so happy that these products are in supermarkets for people to learn from. As consumers we take things/products that we need to use every month for granted…like tampons. Apparently women use over 12,000 tampons during their lifetime. This is a lot! So TOM Organic created this beautiful organic range that protects the environment and your body.
It also says on the box: ‘Change your thoughts and you can change the world.’
Go to their amazing website and check it out. You can buy tampons and other products on subscription which is such a clever idea! I signed up for a 3 month care package with free shipping. This is a really clever business model to made it so super-easy for the buyer to take one this off their regular shopping list.
The TOM blog is great too. They have Vegan recipes which made me swoon with delight! To summerise, the brand is all about overall wellbeing of your body, mind and spirit….and you know how much that is in alignment with our Adventures In Manifesting brand.
